Magic on The Edge

Each year, we create and produce a new show just for the Adelaide Fringe season. This is our fourth year of Magic on The Edge.

I believe that real magic comes from real life. The most amazing magic is in the lives of the people around us. This year's show takes a humorous look in the seasons of life and the amazing things that happen to us.

This is a unique and custom built show for this year's Fringe.

Part proceeds from these shows will be donated to support Run to RED and the work of Cafe Outside the Square.

A Taste of Magic

Last year, we started a new format cabaret magic show. Boomers on the Beach is an ideal venue to come and enjoy dinner on any day. Add some close-up and stage perofrmance magic and you have an entertaining evening.

Turn up around 7:00pm and order your dinner or just a snack and some drinks. Settle in and and enjoy some superb magic close up by some of the best Adelaide Fringe magicians.

After your meal, the magicians will present a small sample of their material on the main stage.

Part proceeds from these shows will be donated to support Run to RED and the work of Cafe Outside the Square.

Teaming up with Cafe Outside the Square, we bring you an event where you can enjoy a delicious snack and some of the best close-up magic in the Adelaide Fringe. The cafe will be open from 7:00pm to grab something to eat and a drink. Bring your food into the show and enjoy meeting the magicians.

Part proceeds from these shows will be donated to support Run to RED and the work of Cafe Outside the Square.

Café Outside the Square is a 100% not-for-profit community café and meetings/functions space, setup so as to provide support and training opportunities for marginalised groups, including those experiencing homelessness.

Run 2 RED is a fundraising event to support a range of charities which aim to "Rescue", "Empower" and "Deploy" high risk adults and children. Some of the charities supported through Run 2 RED include:

Story of experience and joining the Fringe

We can talk about what happens in developing a Fringe show. What is it like the first time, and how to cope with nerves, etc.

The workshop can lead into preparing and presenting a simple effect to the group and either working together on a presentation of combatting the nerves of flying solo.
